Answers to commonly asked questions.

The size of your portrait will be (including Mount):

Single Portrait: 16″ x 12″

Group Portrait: 20″ x 16″

If you require a different size, please contact me and I will work with you to accommodate your request.

The perfect photo is one where your pet’s eyes can be seen clearly. A digital photo where your dog is looking neither straight to the front nor full face on normally works very well for a portrait that captures their personality. If you have difficulty taking a digital picture and live locally, please contact and we will arrange to take a picture for you.

Generally, a portrait takes around a week to complete. I endeavour to complete your portrait within 2-3 weeks. If it takes longer, I will contact you to let you know. If it is for a time sensitive occasion please let me know straight away and I can prioritise.

If you live within 20 miles of Barnsley your portrait will be hand delivered at a mutually convenient time otherwise your portrait will be sent via a ‘signed for’ postal service and you will be notified of your portrait’s tracking number.

As a doggy mummy to 6 dogs I know how hard it is to get the perfect picture of one dog let alone more than one! Most group portraits are drawn from several photos so that the personality of each one of your pets is captured

Any messages, poems and verses can be added to the back of your portrait. Please state what you need in the ‘additional comments‘ text box as you are checking out or email these to me straight after you order.

When your portrait is nearing completion I will send you a photograph of your portrait. You will be asked if you are completely happy: Happy for me is knowing that you could pick your pet’s portrait out of a room full of portraits of similar looking pets. Your portrait will not be sent until you are totally satisfied.
